offset production process

Following delivery of the files, the DTP department checks them according to a number of quality standards, to guarantee the optimum printing result. If necessary corrections are made and on request print proofs can be sent out for inspection.

Once the files have been approved, if applicable, the printing plates are produced. Holbox produces its printing plates using the Computer to Plate (CTP) process. Computer to plate is a technique for the direct production of printing plates from a computer file. At the single press of a button, the offset plates are produced without the intervention of films.
This method saves time, money and the environment and also improves the quality of the finished product.

In-house, Holbox is able to upgrade your printing work in a number of ways, to guarantee an even greater level of attraction. Possibilities include laminate, dispersion lacquer, UV effect lacquer. All these finishes are presented in our ‘Licked-Laqued’ sample brochure. Consult us for more details and a product presentation.
